We would like to announce some changes within the Faculty Board of the Virtual Colonoscopy CT Academy. As from 2016:
- New course director will be Dr. P.C.G. Simons (former faculty member)
- Dr. M.T. de Witte has become faculty member (former course director)
- Dr. A. Ernst from the Stiftungskliniken Weißenhorn, Germany has resigned as faculty member
- New member to the faculty board is Dr. Lukas Lambert from Prague, Czech Republic. He is currently head of the CT department at the Department of Radiology, First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague and General University Hospital in Prague. His research is primarily focused on reducing the radiation dose from CT examinations, CT colonography in particular. Dr. Lambert organized CT colonography training on a national level and presented his research in the area of CT colonography on international events.
We thank Dr. Ernst for her valuable contribution and her many years of support to the course. And we welcome Dr. Lambert, his participation is highly appreciated and we are fully confident that his contribution to the course will be very valuable.
